Masaki SAI's Exhibition "Fukushima- My Hometown"
209th Art Appreciation Series
Masaki SAI’s Exhibition “Fukushima - My Hometown”
October 6th (Tuesday) to 11th (Sunday), 2020
Koriyama Women's University - Foundation Memorial Hall Gallery
The above-mentioned exhibition of Masaki Sai's work was originally prepared as an exhibition open to the public at Koriyama Women’s University’s Foundation Memorial Gallery as part of the Koriyama Kaisei Gakuen’s annual Art Appreciation Series.
However, in order to prevent the spread of the new-corona virus, the exhibition was restricted to members of the Koriyama Kaisei Gakuen community (Koriyama Women’s University; Junior College; High School; Kindergarten).
Accordingly, the Friends of Masaki Sai and Sai Studio have now organized an Online Exhibition so that the general public may view "Masaki Sai - Fukushima, My Hometown" online.

The Fukushima Story- 59 Flowers of Xanadu
What are the Flowers of Xanadu?
Scenes of beauty you can visit anytime
Scenes of beauty in which to remain
Where gentle breezes blow
Where things
Move at a comfortable pace
Where colors blend perfectly
And there is fragrance in the air
Perhaps these are the Flowers of Xanadu?
There are 59 districts in Fukushima
For 10 years, 20 years, 100 years, 1,000 years, 10,000 years,
We pray these Flowers of Xanadu will continue
That is
the Fukushima Story
Masaki Sai
